	Hanuman jayanti falls on Chaitra Shukla Purnima the March-April full moon day. On this day pooja is performed of Hanumanji and fasting or upvaas is done for those who are capable. Also on this day Hanuman Chalisa or the Hanuman Stotra is recited. The stotra is the same which Dharmadev sang to the Hanumanji in Ayodhya and where Hanumanji then gave a darshan. Full Article
